Pivoting from Inside Wall Street
As many of you may know, we authored the publication Inside Wall Street. We will no longer be making new posts under that publication, but will keep the posts up for any new viewers looking to prepare for a career on Wall Street. Please also reach out to @bowtiedfeline with any questions you may have on recruiting, content from Inside Wall Street, markets, modeling, the unconscious mind, whatever (kidding about that last one. kind of).
For an in-depth guide into breaking into Wall Street from veteran insiders themselves, it’s *highly* recommended you take a look at The Banking Bible. There have already been countless success stories of students landing tier-1 IB careers by following the guide.
Read on to see what you can expect from future posts of this new publication.
The Energy Transformation
The 300-year status quo has arrived at a historic turning point. Don’t waste your time sifting through the highly biased information regarding the “energy transition” circulating media.
The truth is.. the truth isn’t popular. But extremes are. Sure, extremes could sometimes yield the truth, but more often than not they don’t. The purpose of the ongoing circulation of extreme thoughts are to get the strongest reaction from the audience. This results in a negative feedback loop that sends these types of posts and information to the top of your feed/search results. Level-headed, pragmatic content unfortunately does not rank well despite its higher likelihood of occurrence. We end up not seeing much, if any, of this type of content circulating our media spheres.
So follow along on this journey and share it with your friends! Unraveling a system that’s been designed, deployed, and innovated over the past 300 years will have far-reaching implications for the future of energy which, in turn, will have 2nd and 3rd derivative impacts as well.
We won’t write to you only about the *what*, but also the *why* of things that are likely to take place. We will explain, in layman’s terms, this *why* behind our thoughts and extrapolations - primarily through the use of First Principles but also history, political momentum, capital market developments and more. Readers directing their valuable attention to any piece of information circulating the web should not be receiving anything less.
